Join us as we explore the ancient landscape of Biesenthaler Becken, a region well-known for its rich biodiversity and breathtaking scenery. Take a break from the humdrum of city life and immerse yourself into the serenity of sprawling forests, meadows with wildflowers, and the company of little forest animals and migratory birds.
The trail starts from the former agricultural town of Biesenthal where you will meander through beautiful open fields with views of the Streesee lake before stopping for a picnic lunch break. Then, you will continue on towards the Biesenthaler basin to explore its glacial landscape dating back to the Ice Age. Enjoy a photo stop at the stunning Lake Hellsee and finally, toast to a great hike at a beer garden on the banks of the Obersee Lake.
